– He instructs: Nehemiah 9:20 – the Lord gave his good Spirit to instruct them, John 14:26 – teaches all things, bring them to memory,
– He encourages Prophecy: Luke 1:41-42, 67-79 – Mary, and Zechariah – both prophesied when filled with the Holy Spirit (to build up, encourage, speak God’s word, teaching),
– He anoints: Matthew 3:16, 1 John 2:27 – anointed Jesus, anoints believers
– He leads: Matthew 4:1, Romans 8:14 – He leads us as children of God,
– Our intercessor: Romans 8:26-27 – intercedes for us in accordance to God’s will,
– He hovers- Genesis 1:1 – the Spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters…

“‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams…”
Acts 2:17

Girl Chat Tuedays

Just wanted to thank you ladies for coming into the room on our Tuesday Night "Girl Chat"!!! God is aways on time when it comes to the Love he has for us!

Please be aware that sometimes there are hidden reasons to why we are unsuccessful in our walk with Christ. You would think forgiveness would be easy, And it is when we forgive the way we think we should forgive. But when we look at the way God intended us to forgive, it takes on a whole knew meaning and process.

Im grateful that the Lord is allowing us to see the difference.

Looking forward to our next girl chat March 15, 2022 @ 7pm. See you all there!

So I want us to about the Presence of God because we can do nothing on our own, but with God all things are possible. Meaning that as 1 John says, If you say you love me and hate your brother, God is not in you. God has given all true believes the power to forgive!

Warfare Is Real.... Activate The Word Of God To Overcome It

There is a spiritual battle raging around us, every day of our lives. Satan is constantly attacking us, hurling lies, and trying to distract us from the plans God has for us. He doesn’t want us to be who God made us to be, to step into our calling, or stand up for what’s right. He knows if he can keep us down—thinking we’re incapable, inadequate, unattractive, unworthy, and unwanted—he wins.
But we are not helpless or hopeless. God has given us the authority to say we won’t take it. Not for ourselves, and not for our spouses, children, families, or friends.

In the book of James, God promises us that when we resist the devil, he must flee ( Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded) But too often, we might just think about resisting while actually staying passive.

In this passage, God is telling us to act. Calling us to fight.
Think about it this way: If someone were to sneak up behind you and attack, you wouldn’t stay quiet and let them hurt you. You would fight back by yelling, kicking, hitting, screaming—doing anything you could do to get away safely. Fighting a spiritual battle isn’t any different. You must do everything you can to resist the attack.

God has given us multiple weapons to fight the enemy. Taking our thoughts captive, worship, prayer, and staying involved in our churches are all weapons in our arsenal, and the best weapon God gave us is the Bible. The Bible is the Word of God, and it’s described in Ephesians as our Sword of the Spirit (13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all, to stand).

As we become more familiar with Scripture, we are sharpening our sword for battle. We can deflect the lies of the enemy by speaking God’s truth and promises over ourselves, our situation, and our families.
The enemy knows if he can keep us fearful, hopeless, and isolated, then he can steal from us the opportunity to win more people to Christ. Satan is desperate to convince us we’re not enough and we can’t make a difference because his future is already written, and he loses.

Take a moment to acknowledge that you’re in a spiritual battle and the eternities of your loved ones or even yourself is at stake. Let it strengthen your resolve and give you something to fight for. Stand confident on God’s promise that He’s already won the war, and ask Him to show you how to fight. God is telling us to fight, so trust that in Him you are ready for battle.

Love You My Sisters, Lady Monique

Thank you Lord

Dear Lord, we come before your throne of grace to say thank you for uniting us as women so that we can serve you and accomplish your plans in this world. It is not easy for women to come up together for a common purpose without there being any trace of strife or contention. Lord, give us strength that we may be able to stand firm as one and fulfill the plans you have set before us. Strengthen us in our inner being that we may be able to overcome all the attacks of the enemy. Lord, we love you, and we honor you.  In Jesus’ name, we pray,

Amen

Girl Chat......

It is a true blessing that the Lord allowed us to create "Girl Chat". He spoke to me about it in 2021. He spoke this into my spirit around the middle of the year and I will confess to you that I was fearful in opening up 'Girl Chat" because I didn't know if #1-Women would log onto the internet to participate. And #2, I thought what do I have to offer these women? I would think of reasons to cancel or prolong the process. But then I heard the Lord speaking to me, saying, " Am I not your God?" "I have not given you the spirit of fear, But of Love power and A sound Mind. I will be with you, Just trust me. Open it up!" So I began "Girl Chat " and I tell you, the Lord indeed showed up.

Girl Chat has been a place that allows women to speak openly. To express their heart, and at times, some of our discussions have lead to bible study. I know that "Girl Chat" isn't mine alone but it's for women everywhere.

Our first meeting in 2022 was a continuation of forgiveness. We often think we have forgiven but we are not walking in the pattern of forgiveness. We can't say I forgive you But... That But cancels out any forgiveness you may have considered giving. The Lord God has not only forgiven us through the blood of Jesus but says that if we do not offer the same forgiveness to others, You will not be forgiven yourself.  God hasn't only forgiven us but He has reconciled us back Himself, therefore He is expecting us to do the same. We can not say we love God but hate our brother or sister. God calls you a liar (1 John 4:20)! God's Love is perfect and complete. So, we His children have to walk in God's complete love!

I want to encourage you to take on the character of Christ. His love and patience, His love and Longsuffering. His peace and forgiving heart!.  And to ask for More of Jesus and less of yourself..... and watch and see what God can do.

I'm so grateful for the opportunity to walk this walk with you ladies.

I love you all

There's A Blessing In The Storm

Allow me to encourage you.
There is a blessing in the storm.

The door to Gods Kingdom is still opened. One of the devil’s favorite lies is to tell us that it’s too late. We’ve blown it too many times, or taken too long to decide, and now it is over for us and we’re off the track for good. But the devil is a liar. The thing about God is that He doesn’t change His mind about us. He devises a plan for our lives, and then He expects it to come to pass.
Romans 11:29 says, “God’s gifts and God’s call are under full warranty—never canceled, never rescinded” (The Message).

He hasn’t forgotten about you or changed His mind about you for one moment. His plan for your life is still the same, even if you got off track. So pick yourself back up and know that He is with you always. Lean on Him. He is there.
You are Loved by God. Don’t ever doubt it no matter what it looks like.

Continue To Be Encouraged!

Prayer Still Works:

We know that this time is hard. Covid is spreading more and more each day. We know family members are lonely and wish they can be together as Thanksgiving has passed and Christmas is ahead of us. We understand that it isn't always easy trying to figure out your next move. In all that, maybe your faith is depleted or your doubts are overwhelming you. You may be fearful of the future and what is ahead. We understand and we want to encourage you. God's word is the perfect place to be built back up and strengthen again. Prayer is the key. Whether you fall down on your knees or take a quiets walk, allow your heart to speak softly to God.  Gods perfect strength is deposited into us when we are weak and when we declare his truths. So remember it and speak it to your hearts and minds. Remember that you are greater than your current situation and that you can do all things through Christ who is your strength, and your hope.

Pray this prayer with me....

Lord, when my faith is weak, I'll trust in You. You are faithful and constant, and You’re the same yesterday, today, and forever. I may grow tired and weary, I might even stumble and fall, but I will hope in You and my strength will be renewed. For You give strength to the weary and increase the power of the weak. With Your help, I'll forget what is behind and strain toward what’s ahead. God, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which You have called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. I'm confident that the work You began in me will be completed. No matter what comes my way, Lord, I know that I can do all things with Your perfect strength. I take your armor upon me and I will be victorious. In Jesus name

Isaiah 40:28- 31

Have you never heard?
Have you never understood?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of all the earth.
He never grows weak or weary.
No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
29 He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless.
30 Even youths will become weak and tired,
and young men will fall in exhaustion.
31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.

Phil 1:6-

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns

Phil 4:13-

For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

So be encouraged and continue to walk in faith. Jesus will not fail you! I promise

We Love you all

Just a note

During this time away, I have had some time to reflect on the things our Pastor has preached on and has taught us in our Bible study lessons. I see so clearly in so many ways that we truly are not wrestling against flesh and blood but the army of our enemy. The devil has caused hearts to harden in such a way that hasn't caught me by surprise because of the word of God. However to see it happening, to see it lead to such hurt, death, and rage caused my heart to hurt and my spirit to pray. As if the COVID 19 situation wasn't bad enough. People are sick and dying without even so much as a warning. THis virus has come in and caused great heartache and damage. We have a president that is only concerned about himself. one who lies more than tells the truth. As a Christian, as a woman, as a mother, as a sister and a wife, I am commanded to pray and cover my family and my church. Then to deal with the racial virus of hate because of the color of our skin. My heart is so overwhelmed. In saying all that, I want to stand and encourage you all to know who you are in the Lord. We are more than the color of our skin. We are God's chosen people, and because of that, It is extremely important to stand on the promises of God. For we know that this world is coming to an end. We know our savior is soon to return. We know that in the midst of all this hate, There is hope because of what is to come when it is all over. There is LOVE because of the God we serve. There is truth because the Holy Spirit is here with us to lead and guide us in all truths of the Father. We have to keep our focus on the Lord. We have to continue to stay in our prayer closets, our secret place. You are the light of the world, the salt of the earth, and you are chosen. Be that light for someone who is in need of an encouraging word, of food, of hope and of a promise that satan himself cannot conquer!!!! Jesus is Lord and His word will come to pass.I love you all. We will be together again soon.

A Virtuous Women

This is a great reminder that we each have a role to play in Christ Jesus, but first, we have to be transformed. I hope this blesses you like it blessed me today.

Proverbs 31 tells the virtuous woman and describes her worth as far above rubies. A wise woman is worth her weight in jewels. She is priceless. She is a testament to a good God. And several characteristics define her:

  • She is trustworthy and a blessing (Proverbs 31:11-12).
  • She is self-motivated (Proverbs 31:13).
  • She is a provider for the good of those in her care and is generous in the process (Proverbs 31:14-15).
  • She is intelligent and a good steward, strong for whatever she sets her mind and hands to do (Proverbs 31:16-17).
  • She is a hard worker, talented and skilled (Proverbs 31:18-19, 21-22).
  • She is kind and compassionate to those in need (Proverbs 31:20)
  • She is content, joyful, and adaptable with whatever the Lord throws her way (Proverbs 31:25).
  • She is a woman known for wise words and kind speech (Proverbs 31:26).
  • She is protective, a nurturer, and is liked and respected (Proverbs 31:27-28).
  • She is known as a woman who fears the Lord and follows His ways (Proverbs 31:30).
  • The Proverbs 31 woman is not Wonder Woman. She isn’t an unattainable, perfect creature. She is an example for us to follow. The Proverbs 31 is simply a woman who has committed herself to following Christ. That impacts how she loves, leads, works, manages her affairs and approaches life. Following Jesus changes everything about us. A wise woman is obedient to Christ, and in turn grows in wisdom.

    Spend time with Jesus

Jesus desires our lives to be in line with His words, so that we may meditate rightly in His sight. When we are daily meeting Him at His door posts, we are able to better receive His word and mediate on His unfailing love . The more we take in His words of life, the more we overflow with the life of Christ in our walk. Hebrews 13:15 tells us to continually (not just on Sundays) offer a sacrifice of praise - the fruit of lips that profess His name.We have thought, O God, on Your lovingkindness, In the midst of Your temple. Psalm 48:9Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5

    A nugget

If we want our mouths to be open in wisdom and clarity, power and authority, we must believe. Believe that He is who He says He is and that He can do exactly what He says that He can. We must hide His word in our hearts and allow faith to bubble up in us despite the odds that we are up against. And, apparently, one of the benefits of believing God is a mouth that is opened by God to edify and encourage others.
